I think that to reset 4026 on #6 you will have to use some combination of AND/OR, conectend to reset, to detect it. But in mi opinion AND should be enought because 1,2,3,4,5 does not use all segments of 6.

You can use just 3 triple input AND gates like CMOS4073 or a Danyk's alternative with some diodes and pull-up resisters.
